Packlink Insurance
Problem: The business wanted to drive more customers to get insurance.
User’s concern: Currently the user doesn’t know if it is worth getting insurance for their package or to risk it.
Business concern: The insurance rate we provide isn’t as good as other competitors but because of other features of Packlink we want them to consider getting insurance.
Solution: I designed an insurance selector that could be used in for all carrier insurance scenarios. Ths included changes to layout, colour and copy to give a reason to the user to get insurance and highlighted the business recommendation that improved the take up rate.
Shipstation Label format
Problem: Users need the ability to select A4 / A6 label formats
User’s concern: I want to print their shipping label in either A4 or A6 but currently there isn’t an option too.
Solution: I simplified the design by having one visual to select a label from and created new component that can be used elsewhere in the platform to select two or more items.
